Cyberjaya, Selangor | 12 June 2025 - MTC Group was pleased to welcome a delegation of 27 students and one academic advisor from the Naval Architecture Club of UniKL Malaysian Institute of Marine Engineering Technology (MIMET) for an educational site visit to its facility in Cyberjaya, Selangor. The visit formed part of the students’ efforts to gain a deeper understanding of real-world working environments in the marine engineering and naval architecture sectors.
The visiting group, led by Program Director Mr. Muhammad Faris Arwen bin Darunafis and academic advisor Mdm Nurul Asima binti Zainon, was warmly received at MTC Group’s office. The program began with a welcoming address and corporate introduction by Mr. Wan Muhd Shafiq, Sr. Contract Analyst, who shared MTC’s history, capabilities, and recent milestones in the naval and oil & gas industries.
Students then benefited from a technical talk delivered by Ms. Rabi'atul Adawiyah Hairai, Sr. Naval Architect, who provided valuable insights on naval architecture, project experiences, and engineering challenges in the maritime industry.
The visit concluded with a closing session, during which students had the opportunity to raise questions, network, tour the office, and exchange ideas with MTC engineers and staff.
This initiative reflects MTC Group’s commitment to supporting knowledge-sharing and skills development among future maritime professionals, strengthening the bridge between academia and industry.
