Offshore Terengganu, 27 May 2025 - MTC Engineering Sdn Bhd (MTCE) proudly announces the successful and full transition into operational leadership of FPSO MTC Ledang, marking a new chapter as both owner and Operations & Maintenance (O&M) provider for the asset.
The formal handover was completed on 11 May 2025, onboard the FPSO MTC Ledang, following an extensive and rigorous Operations Readiness & Assurance (ORA) program. With 100% completion of ORA, MTCE demonstrated its operational maturity, technical excellence, and commitment to sustainable offshore operations.
Under this new role, MTCE takes full responsibility for the day-to-day O&M of FPSO MTC Ledang, the Jitang Wellhead Platform (WHP), and the Tembikai Non-Associated Gas (TNAG) Offshore Well Facility (OWF) — all located in the Jitang Field, part of the Irong Cluster operated by Vestigo Petroleum offshore Terengganu, Malaysia.
MTCE’s journey from engineering and conversion to full operatorship reflects its capability, resilience, and readiness to spearhead offshore excellence. This milestone reinforces MTCE’s vision to deliver safe, reliable, and efficient operations in Malaysia’s energy landscape.
