Port Dickson, 9 May 2025 – As part of the Prolintas Technical Conference 2025, held at Villea Port Dickson from 8 to 10 May, Ir. Ts. (Dr.) Mohd Rashid Bin Ya’acob, Director (Chief of C&S Engineering) at MTC Engineering Consultancy Sdn Bhd (MTCEC), delivered an insightful presentation on the "BIM Process Workflow for C&S Engineering in Conventional Contract Implementation."
The session emphasized the importance of adopting Building Information Modelling (BIM) to enhance the planning, coordination, and execution of civil and structural engineering projects. Ir. Ts. (Dr.) Mohd Rashid introduced the Building Information Modelling Implementation Framework (BIMIF), outlining workflow structures, levels of development (LOD), and stakeholder coordination essential for successful BIM integration.
The conference, themed "Hustle, Hit & Never Quit!", brought together technical professionals from across the infrastructure sector, reinforcing Prolintas' commitment to innovation and engineering excellence as it celebrates 30 years of elevating lives.
